One of Smith Mountain Lake’s most popular attractions is making plans to undergo an expansion.
Smith Mountain Lake State Park, under the direction of the Virginia Department of Conservation, announced expansion plans that will include a 60-site campground, a new picnic area, new cabins, and more.
A public meeting will be held at 6pm on September 30th at the SML State Park Visitor Center to discuss the project.
