Roanoke’s Go Fest Celebrates the Great Outdoors

The Roanoke Go Outside Festival, known locally as Go Fest, is October 18-20 at River’s Edge Complex South. One of the most popular fall events in the area, Go Fest is a celebration of all things outdoors including demos for mountain biking, fly fishing, BMX stunt shows, dog diving, and more!

Go Fest’s vendors showcase the latest in outdoor gear and accessories. Food trucks serving incredible local food are on site, as well as craft breweries.

Many visitors bring their dogs to Go Fest, making it an unofficial favorite amongst patrons. (If you’re planning on bringing your puppy to Go Fest, make sure to keep them on a leash and bring plenty of fresh water.) If you would like to camp onsite, which is offered at no additional cost, you will need to drop your equipment off on the Jefferson side of Wiley Drive and then check-in. You can check-in beginning at 5:45p on Friday, October 17th.
