Chili Festival Heats Up Smith Mountain Lake

The Smith Mountain Lake Fall Chili and Craft Festival is scheduled for Saturday, November 2nd at Bridgewater Plaza. This competitive cookoff has become a popular fall attraction at SML, garnering droves of visitors eager to vote for their favorite chili.

Awards are given for “People’s Choice”, “Showmanship,” and “Best Chili.” Live music and arts and crafts vendors are also on-site.

The event runs from 11a-3p, with tastings taking place from 12p-2p. Winners will be announced at 3:30. Admission is $7 at the gate.
